As per the report of World Health organisation (WHO)2014, 53% of all deaths in India were due to Non Communicable Diseases (NCD).

JaanBachao.in is an initiative launched by The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai along with other prominent partners like Bhamla foundation and Asian heart Institute, Boston Scientific and Partnership To Fight Chronic Disease; this will act as a continuous forum wherein variety of information related to healthy living would be shared.

Unhealthy eating habits, Lack of exercise, Smoking, Alcohol, stress along with Poor health seeking behaviour puts Individuals at high risk for non-communicable diseases. According to WHO Global action plan if these risk factors are addressed by changing lifestyle it can reduce NCD related premature deaths by 50%.
